Policy Against Third Party Exploits Modified

We have been recently been informed of an exploit concerning third party programs which is being abused especially in castle sieges. In lieu to this, we have modified the policy related to this matter to preserve game integrity.

The in-game policy regarding the use of third party program which would enable the user to have his character do one or more activities inside the game which can be considered "abnormal" or outside the game's intended limitations has been modified to the following:

1st Offense - 7 day Character Ban
2nd Offense - 30 day Character Ban
3rd Offense - Permanent Ban

Take note that depending also on the severity of the third party program use, penalties can be implemented to its maximum extent which is the permanent ban.

We ask the players to report characters who use this exploit via in-game petition so that our GM team could assess and reprimand these abusers.

We thank you for your cooperation on this matter.

AsianMedia to Release Exteel in SEA!

Korean gaming giant NCsoft Corp., and Philippine-based Asian Media Development Group (AsianMedia) reached another partnership milestone with the contract signing for Exteel SEA last September 1, 2008. In a signed agreement, Asian Media earned the right to publish Exteel in the Philippines, Singapore and Malaysia. The contract is a testament to the ongoing partnership between the two companies. For NCsoft, this is its first time to allow in-house developed casual games to be serviced by a partner company abroad, in this case, AsianMedia. For AsianMedia, this would mark the company’s entry to the free to play market.

Clash of the Titans, A Recap

On October 12, Lineage II and cosplay.ph held Cosplaymania 2008 at the SM Megatrade Hall 3. The event was a celebration of cosplay – from “costume” and “play” – and the qualities that make this art and lifestyle unique – its creativity, resourcefulness, community-building and pageantry.

Lineage II, as one of the event’s co-presentor, held events of its own. One of the highlights of the event was the PVP tournament, Clash of the Titans, drawing players and Lineage II communities from both Aria and Blackbird servers.

Team Endless was Aria server’s champion after defeating Clean Cut Popoyan for the score 37-25. In Blackbird, Team 3k wiped out Team 2k to get the top prize.

The champions took home P3, 000 cash prize and seven (7) Bugle of Star, an in-game item. The runner-ups got P2, 000 cash prize and seven (7) Bugle of Winds. The winners also received L2 gift packs.

Clash of the Titans adopted the Underground Coliseum rules. Each fight lasts for 10 minutes. The team who wipes out the other team, or gets the highest kill points (KP) at end time, wins the game.

The Clash of the Titans was part of Octobermania, a month-long series of in- and off-the-game events in Lineage II.

Listen up, Malaysian and Singaporean players!

Players holding the old time cards will have until September 30, 2008 to load their existing cards. Unused cards will be deactivated after the said date. So load up those cards while you can.

Soon available are the new time cards for a low low price of RM 28 and SGD 12!

Malaysian players can now purchase Lineage II e-pins from OffGamers using various payment gateways. On the other hand, Singaporean players can continue to buy from EpicSoft’s GXCredits and their various retail outlets.
